Early rhythms and a blossoming passion
My musical journey began at a young age when I started learning the drums at 6. It helped me develop my love for rhythms and music, and later at the age of 12, I got the opportunity to buy a cheap guitar from a friend. This was the start of a love story, guitar allowed me to carry my understanding of groove and to add melodies in order to express more emotions in my music.
From the start, I began writing songs and melodies, with my sister assisting in crafting the lyrics as I didn't speak English at the time. I primarily learned to play the electric guitar, but my true passion blossomed when I discovered the richness of the classical guitar sound, leading me to play it every day for the sheer joy that it brought me. In recent years, I have delved into expressing myself through the soft tones of the classical piano.
Musical influences and embracing the true self
Listening to and creating music has consistently played a significant role in my life, providing peace during the challenging events of my childhood. My voice and guitar playing, according to others, still reflect this aspect in my music.

Deeply influenced by artists like Radiohead, Ben Harper, and Angus & Julia Stone from a young age, they have helped me find beauty and transcend sadness through their music. However, my influences are far-reaching, extending from Classical Piano to Roots Reggae and French Rap, each bringing out different facets of myself.

I firmly believe that music possesses a unique power to touch people's hearts and help them in processing their emotions. Therefore, by creating music that enables individuals to connect with themselves and fully embrace their true selves, I aspire to have the potential to bring joy and solace to all who listen.
The Jamhouse connection
I was lucky enough that life made me cross paths with the Jamhouse by pure luck when a friend of mine was looking for a roommate for their flat, little did we know the flat was part of one of the most epic musician’s communities of Montreal ! After I realized where I landed, my world started to shift and the artist in me felt more comfortable and free than ever. Cherry on the top, the Jamhouse now has its own studio, and there is no word to describe how good Emma Anders is at her craft. I believe that the best comes out of people when they are comfortable to be themselves, and Emma is a master at making me comfortable, in the flow, in my power for creating.
An Osteopath and Community Facilitator
Apart from music, my everyday life in Montreal is a balance between my full time job as an Osteopath, helping people feeling more free and better in their body, and facilitating men’s circle to provide a safe space of compassionate mirrors where we can learn about ourselves and inspire others. I’m also a huge individual sports fan and practitioner, including MMA, dancing, and climbing trees !”

Let’s bring more presence into this crazy world.
