WORKSHOPS

WORKSHOPS - PROGRAMMING - JAM CAMP (2).png

Welcome to Jam Camp -  where musicality lives within all - the voice, the body, the land, our shared creativity...

We believe that music and dance are not luxuries or professions reserved for a few—they are ancient technologies of connection, healing, belonging, and becoming. For our ancestors, song and dance were inseparable from daily life...

At Jamhouse Camp, we return to music as a way of life and remember our nature as innately creative and expressive beings. Because sound, movement, and creative expression are sacred, essential, and alive in all of us!
All of the workshops offered are welcome to all levels, regardless of musical or movement experience - just bring your curiosity :)

There will be workshops to explore your voice, movement, songs, rhythms and traditions from around the world, connect with nature, practice deep listening ...and more !

THE CAVE OF CREATION

WORKSHOPS - PROGRAMMING - JAM CAMP (2).png

The Creation Cave is a sacred space nestled within the festival grounds dedicated to womb reconnection. Like its partner cave, the Cave of Ancients, it has its own unique programming throughout the gathering!

This is a space to honor the intelligence of the body, the voice of the feminine, and the power of collective presence - a place of communal birthing through womb ritual, embodied presence and deep listening. The Creation Cave is for all people of all genders and life stages who long to return to the place of origin: the inner sanctuary of creation, sensing, sound, and rebirth. Here, we awaken an embodied connection to the earth, to community, and to the deeper currents of desire and dreams.

The Creation Cave will host a series of intimate workshops, rituals and gatherings weaving voice, heart-centered breathwork, eros energetics, stories and mythos of the feminine and masculine principles, embodied power, movement and sound to awaken the creative intelligence of the womb—both within the body and within the earth itself. These are explored as gateways into creation, resonance, and the powerful mystery of what is becoming.

Laura Griffiths is a poet, writer, somatic therapist, rite of passage guide, and trauma-informed counselor with over 15 years of experience in clinical bodywork, energy medicine, and relational health and healing.

She weaves womb work, trauma integration, life–death–life alchemy, vocal authenticity, and erotic intelligence into ceremonies and workshops that invite profound return to the body, creative center, and deeper knowing.

Her work honors ancestral and Indigenous lineages, blending intuitive, earth-based practices with neuroscience, nervous system attunement, and mythic remembrance to create spaces of embodied truth and collective reverence for both patrilineal and matrilineal consciousness.

CAVE OF THE ANCIENTS

Be it through silence or through sound and song, the Cave of the Ancients will be a place dedicated to remembering, to grieving, to speaking and singing to the visible and the invisible within all of us.

Like its partner cave, The Cave of Creation, this space will have its own unique programming for the festival!

You may be asking, Why Grief? Why Death? Why the Ancients?

We are creating this space under the belief that to be more fully alive, in the juiciness of this world, we must be more rooted in the mysteries that surround us.

This is about making medicine for our ancestors, for our land, for our loved ones and community.

Medicine in the forms of tears, song and laughter. All the things of living deeply.

So this is a space about living deeply as humans in a world of more-than-human forces.

At the Cave of the Ancients we will honour the Land, honour the Dead, and we will praise this beautiful and wild life!

A space dedicated to remembering, to grieving, to speaking and singing to the visible and the invisible within all of us.

Multi-disciplinary artist, writer, culture activist, podcaster, facilitator and Grief Doula, Devlin is exploring the thresholds of living, dying, and story-telling in many different spaces. Devlin has training and experience in working with children and teenagers with complex neurological disorders, having refined skills in crisis intervention and reflective listening. Having over a decade of experience as a professional musician where he was featured on and written several albums, he has turned his focus towards Cultural/Community Death work and Vocal Resonance under a new system he calls “Sounds of Belonging” where he helps people build a more trusting relationship with the voice, body, and the animate forces of the wider world.
