About the Song

 

"This is a song about integration into wholeness; of not turning away from any side of who we are ––past, present, and future. It was written at a time in my life when I was digging deep to make sense of my past and working to integrate forgotten parts of myself, grief, and missed opportunities. It’s an acknowledgment of the great Cycles that move us, ever-rising and falling like the tide, and a call to recognize my power and step forward with courage, settling into Life’s continual letting go as new experiences emerge, new challenges lead me into the darkness, and new wisdom guides me through again and again."
