About the Song
"This song is about Mary Magdalene and who she might have truly been. In the biblical version we know, she is depicted as a whore, but many writings would lead us to believe that she was not only Jesus' wife, but also his guide. Perhaps she even bore him a child.
That being said, the intention of this song is to bring to light the importance of the sacred feminine that has been occulted for centuries,
and that is increasingly being revealed in our era. Through the archetypal roles of Jesus and Mary Magdalene, this song also speaks of the necessity of polarities in order to meet anew in unity. In other words, to return to the primordial essence that is God.
It is a medicine song for healing the sacred feminine and reconciling the polarities. Women and men, we have all been wounded in the deep intimacy of our feminine and masculine. This song is for me a sort of catharsis to rightfully restore the place of the sacred feminine in the great dance of unity of the poles."
